Why calling service is the key to unlock many of the service regarding categories. Like every other category, focus should be on starting and end of the call. However this will be your way after some practise. If you are reviewing this category for the first time then be patience and dont be in a rush.
Appointment opportunity:
- Looking for vehicle maintenance or repair service.
- Looking for the repair or installation of a part.
- Looking for auto detailing.
- Caller asks if there are any recalls and if told open recall was there.
- Caller mentions both an existing appointment and a new appointment opportunity on the same call.
- Caller missed a previous appointment and is scheduling a new one.
Upcoming scheduled appointment / vehicle already in service:
Not an appointment opportunity:
- Discussion about an appointment scheduled for an upcoming time and/or dates.
- Discussion / Checking status of a vehicle already in services.
- Adding a ervices to a vehicle that is already in service.
- Cancels / reschedules an upcoming appointment.
Not an appointment opportunity:
- General conversation / a personal call / employee-to-employee conversation / Job opportunity/ background verification - where no appointment opportunity exists
- Requested was not offered by the dealership.
- If there are no open recalls, even if the customer checks on the recalls.
- Caller asks if vehicle is due for service and is told the vehicle is not due for service
- Only about parts without any discussion of service.
- Call is sales / finance/ business etc.
- Call is about a bill without any discussion of services.
- Caller only asks about a car wash without any discussion of services.
- Caller asks how to service something on their own instead of bringing their vehicle in.
Correction: caller never connected to a live, qualified agent:
- Never connected to a live, qualified agent
- Left on hold / connection was lost
- Reached voicemail / did not leave Voice message
- Reached wrong number / fax machine sounds / other similar noises/ spam calls.
- Left a live message / declined to leave a live message / hung up during the bridge greeting
