LinkedIn is one of the social networking sites that is used by more than millions of users a day in the world. It is used for jobs, networking, promotion, product sales, recruitment, staffing, etc.
Like Facebook, LinkedIn provides android / Ios applications for its users to give a better user experience. Anyhow, most of the people couldn't get off the desktop view as it is fabulous in all terms. The main use of the desktop version is to view the pages without missing any contents and to download the profiles in PDF document, which is not available in the mobile version. There are few ways to get the desktop version on your mobile. I will show the best way to get the LinkedIn desktop view in your mobile browser and it works 100%.
I've tried this method in both Firefox and Chrome, it works like charm. Sign in to your LinkedIn account by visiting http://www.linkedin.com and enter your username & password.
After login, you will notice the mobile version of LinkedIn, which needs a lot of scrolling and clicking to be done. So, we are going to switch to desktop view.
Now, this is the step you will see in most of the sites, I ain't gonna do anything different. That's right! enable Desktop mode in the chrome / Firefox by clicking the three dots.
After this step, you will notice that instead of the desktop view, you will be in LinkedIn lite mode. This is where people say, this doesn't work. Maybe LinkedIn updated the site, so it stopped working 6 months back. If it works, then you are lucky.
To make sure, desktop view is enabled.
Here is what I found to get the LinkedIn Desktop view.
If you navigate to messages, in some cases, it will automatically get viewed in desktop mode.
If not Disable desktop mode and navigate to messages.
Now enable the desktop mode again by clicking the 3 dots and you will get the desktop view.
